Last Year's Festival
The 2007 Merrickville Fine Art Festival featured 38 diverse artists from
eastern Ontario and western Quebec.
Original works of art included oil and acrylic paintings, watercolours,
pastels, mixed media, sculptures, photographs and computer generated
images. The art portrayed a variety of subject matter from landscapes to
abstracts, an array that would certainly appeal to every taste.
The show was a tremendous success both from the
perspective of the participating artists, as well as the public who
showed their support of the festival and the artists, through their
presence and purchases.
