The Merrickville Fine Art Festival
The Merrickville Fine Art Festival will be presenting its seventh annual, juried art exhibit and sale on the May long weekend, 2008.
The show will be open to the public from 10 am to 5 pm , on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday, May 17th through to the 19th.
The Festival will take place at the Merrickville Community Centre, situated at the corner of Read St. and Main St. West., Merrickville, Ont.
About The Merrickville Fine Art Festival
On the long weekend in May 2008 the Merrickville Fine Art Fest will be presenting its seventh annual exhibit and sale.
Although we are a small festival compared to those in larger communities, we can boast that our festival provides a friendly, cordial and social atmosphere. It is a venue where artists can casually intermingle and exchange creative, artistic dialoque.
Throughout the years our festival has been highly supported by the artists and residents from our own municipality of Merrickville-Wolford as well as the surrounding areas of Brockville, Ottawa, Outaouais and Montreal regions, Kanata, Kingston and the smaller towns of the Ottawa Valley. During this period we have promoted young talent and provided up and coming artists the opportunity to exhibit their works for the first time.
